setup

$499 before building begins

You approve the standard agreement, scope, revision limit, and setup price before work starts.

monthly care

$55/month starts at launch

This pays for managed hosting, SSL oversight, monitoring, backups, recovery, and ordinary technical repairs - not just server space.

domain

The registrar bills you directly

Your domain stays in an account you own. Registrar fees are separate from Contact Setup and are paid directly to the registrar.

included technical care

Keeping the site healthy is part of the monthly service.

  • managed hosting and SSL oversight
  • uptime and form checks
  • backups, rollback, and recovery
  • ordinary technical repairs

occasional factual changes

Two small routine requests per year are included.

Each should take no more than about 15 minutes.

  • hours or contact information
  • a short service-text correction
  • a link or photo replacement

separate work

Redesigns and new functionality are not monthly maintenance.

Additional changes are fixed-price small requests or quoted first. Custom software is outside the standard product.

when the standard plan is not enough

The standard plan is for a simple business website.

If one of these is central to your business, I would rather tell you early than squeeze the project into the wrong product.

  • Ecommerce, memberships, customer accounts, and custom applications are not part of the standard product.
  • Daily or weekly content management is not included. This service is built for businesses whose core information stays fairly stable.
  • Redesigns, new sections, and new functionality are separate work and are priced before anything changes.
  • Ongoing SEO, paid advertising, social media management, and marketing campaigns are outside the standard service.
  • Unusual technical work may be separately scoped or declined if it would turn the service into a custom-development project.
  • Legal, privacy, accessibility, tax, and regulatory advice require the appropriate professional review.

other common requests

Extra work is priced before it starts.

If you ask for something outside the plan, you see the price or scope before extra work starts.

  • Professional email or Google Workspace setup can be quoted separately. Google bills its own subscription directly.
  • Another page, major section, or meaningful design change is priced before work begins.
  • Substantial copywriting, photography, logo work, or full branding is quoted or referred separately.
  • Additional factual content changes are handled as a fixed-price small request or quoted before work begins.
  • If you need functionality beyond the standard website, I will price it separately, suggest another solution, or tell you if it is outside the service.
  • If you leave and want help moving the finished site to hosting in your name, migration is quoted separately.

cancellation and portability

You are not paying to become trapped.

The domain stays yours, and the finished website can leave with you after the account is settled.

  • Any unpaid balance must be settled before the handoff.
  • You may request a current copy of the live website.
  • Your domain remains in the registrar account you control.
  • If you want help moving the site to hosting in your name, the migration is quoted separately.
  • After transfer, you control the new hosting account and ongoing help is optional.

pricing and service questions

What you are paying for - and what you are not.

Why not use a cheap website builder?

A builder is a good option if you want to design, edit, and maintain the site yourself. Contact Setup is for owners who would rather have the finished website and the technical care handled for them.

What does the $55 monthly service cover?

Managed hosting, SSL oversight, uptime and form-delivery monitoring, backups, rollback and recovery, ordinary technical repairs, and one accountable provider. It is managed care, not just rented server space.

How many content changes are included?

Two routine factual content-change requests per year are included, each requiring no more than about 15 minutes. Additional changes are fixed-price small requests or quoted before work begins.

Can I edit the website myself?

The standard product does not include a self-editing dashboard. If frequent self-editing is important to you, another platform will probably fit better.

How many revisions are included before launch?

One consolidated revision round is included. You review the complete preview, send one organized list, and I complete the agreed changes before final approval.

Do I own the domain and website?

The domain should be registered in your name and paid directly to the registrar. Your supplied business materials remain yours. Once the build is paid for, you may keep using the finished website.

Can I move the site if I cancel?

Yes. After any balance is paid, you may request a current copy of the live website. If you want help moving it to hosting in your name, that migration is quoted separately.

Can I call whenever I need a small change?

There is a real person responsible for the site, but routine requests stay organized through email or the request form. A call can be scheduled when a conversation is useful, and genuine service failures receive higher priority.

How quickly are routine requests handled?

Routine requests are normally acknowledged within two business days, and approved small changes are usually scheduled within several business days. Ordinary evenings and weekends are not routine support hours.

What counts as a technical outage?

A site that is unavailable, an SSL problem, or a primary inquiry form that is not functioning is treated as a technical service issue and receives higher priority. A wording, photo, layout, or new-feature request is not an outage.

What kinds of projects are not a fit?

The standard service is not for ecommerce, memberships, custom applications, complex databases, daily content changes, ongoing marketing campaigns, or unlimited revisions.

Do you guarantee leads, sales, or search rankings?

No. I make the website clear, functional, and dependable, but no provider can honestly guarantee rankings, inquiries, sales, or revenue.

see if the service fits

Not every business needs this kind of website.

If customers mainly need to understand the business, call, or request an estimate, the standard managed website may be enough. Send the basics and I will tell you whether it fits.
